Woke up this morning at 6:15 with Joyce flashing her lights into my bedroom window.  We were suppose to be setting up the water station.  We were to be handing out water at Water stop 8.

I popped up and threw on my shorts and grabbed my hat.

Joyce and I purchased hats for this event.  Silly and fun.    There were 750 participants in this years race.  Were at mile 6 of the 13 mile event.   I had worked this race for the last five years and know that you don’t want to work the Gator Ade table.

Stickey stuff that.  After the last runner we packed up and headed back to Daunties to find our husbands.  Ray and John were assisting with the setup and tear down of all the waterpoints.  We didn’t finish until after 1pm.

Stopped for hotwings at Kelly’s. They were great!

This weekend there was a craft show downtown.  All really nice stuff.  I found a lovely ring and Ray purchased it for me!    Beautiful hand-made opal.

We finished the day with a dinner at a restaurant on the beach.
